James Devereux joined Vista Equity Partners in 2021 and is responsible for fund and regulatory matters across all investment strategies.

Prior to joining Vista, James was an Investment Funds Partner at Kirkland & Ellis, where he focused on structuring, marketing, negotiating and closing investment funds. Before his time as an Investment Funds Partner, James was an Investment Funds Associate at Kirkland & Ellis. James is a member of the State Bars of California, Massachusetts and New York.
