Ashley Butler joined Vista Equity Partners in 2020 and is responsible for fund and regulatory matters across all investment strategies.

Prior to Vista, Ashley was an Associate at Ropes & Gray, where she focused on advising investment advisors on fund formation and structuring, fund operations and legal and regulatory issues for private equity and hedge funds. Before Ropes & Gray, Ashley was an Investment Management Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel, where she focused on the representation of investment advisors in connection with the structuring, formation and ongoing operational needs of various funds as well as regulatory and compliance matters. Ashley is also a member of the New York and California bars.
