Yancey Spruill joined Vista Equity Partners in 2024 and is a member of the private equity Flagship team.

Prior to Vista, Yancey was CEO of DigitalOcean (NYSE: DOCN), where he broadened the cloud hosting company’s product portfolio, tripled its revenue and led its IPO in 2021. Before DigitalOcean, Yancey was COO and CFO of SendGrid (NYSE: SEND), an email API and marketing campaign platform he helped take public in 2017 and led its acquisition by Twilio in 2019. Prior to SendGrid, Yancey was CFO of DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI), where he grew the company’s revenue over 10x and led its IPO in 2009.

Before his 20 years in technology operating roles, Yancey was an Investment Banker and began his career as a technology and consumer products engineer.
