Patrick Nichols joined Vista Equity Partners in 2024 and is a member of the private equity Flagship team.

Prior to Vista, Patrick was CEO of the combined Quest/One Identity business. During his tenure, Patrick reorganized the company to consolidate product groups, reset roadmaps, improved profitability, acquired several organizations across all lines of business and led the sale process from Francisco Partners to Clearlake. Before Quest, Patrick was the CEO of Corel, where he drove significant organic growth across complex and mixed go-to-market motions, closed nearly a dozen acquisitions and successfully led the sale process from Vector Capital to KKR. Prior to his roles at Corel and Vector Capital, Patrick was part of the leadership team at Trilogy & Versata, where he contributed to creating operational excellence, driving M&A and converting the enterprise software platform into ESW Capital.
