Bret Bolin joined Vista Equity Partners in 2016 and is a member of the private equity Foundation team.

Bret has been actively involved in numerous Vista transactions, including representative transactions such as PeopleAdmin, RDC, Trintech and Wrike.

Prior to Vista, Bret was the Executive Chairman and CEO of Misys (now Finastra, a Vista company). Under his leadership, Misys successfully consolidated the operations of Turaz (formerly Thomson Reuters Treasury and Risk Management Division) and commenced a strong path to industry-leading growth and profitability.

Before Misys, Bret was President and CEO of P2 Energy Solutions (a former Vista company) and CFO of Ventyx (a former Vista company) and CFO of SourceNet Solutions (a former Vista company).
