Kiran Rao joined Vista Equity Partners in 2021 and is the Chief Operating Officer of the Value Creation Team.

Prior to Vista, Kiran was an Operating Partner at TPG Capital, where he led the Technology Operations team, assumed operational roles and served on boards for over 10 TPG portfolio companies. Before TPG, Kiran was a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving TMT and PE clients. Prior to McKinsey, Kiran worked in Silicon Valley with Accenture, Cisco Systems and Asera (a Kleiner Perkins startup).
