Ryan Atlas joined Vista Equity Partners in 2012 and sits on the Vista Foundation Funds’ Investment Committee.

Ryan has been actively involved in numerous Vista transactions, including representative transactions such as Autotask, Bullhorn, Relias Learning, Return Path and Wrike. He was also named one of GrowthCap’s Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors in 2022.

Prior to Vista, Ryan worked at JMI Equity, a growth equity firm with over $7.5 billion under management. While at JMI, Ryan focused on growth and buyout investments of software and technology-enabled businesses. Before JMI, Ryan worked at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients on both strategy and operations in a variety of industries, including private equity, technology and energy.

Ryan is a founding member and current Board Member of the Austin chapter of Friends of the Children, a nonprofit organization focused on breaking the cycle of generational poverty through transformative work with high-risk youth. He’s also the Austin chapter’s former Treasurer, Vice Chair and current Board Chair.
